Passion. Experience. Commitment.
Award-winning authors Susanna Daniel and Michelle Wildgen founded the Madison Writers' Studio in 2013 with the dream of bringing intimate, high-quality writing classes to a round-table setting.
In our workshops, local writers develop meaningful connections with other writers and inspire and encourage each other.
Michelle and Susanna have a combined twenty years of teaching experience, and both have published award-winning novels, essays, and short stories.
The MWS has been featured in the Capital Times, the Isthmus, the Wisconsin State Journal, Madison Magazine, and Brava. Here’s a recent piece about graduates who have gone on to publish.
